- Combine a Mt Kenya trek with a Kenya Explorer safari - 14 days
- Combine a Kilimanjaro trek with a Tanzania Explorer safari - 14 days
- Climb Mt Kenya followed by Kilimanjaro - 14 days
Low season safaris
Although we have no scheduled departures during the "rainy seasons" it is perfectly possible to run safaris - in fact they can be the most delightful safaris with the game parks virtually to yourselves. The main problem with the wet season is not constant rain (there are usually sunny days with what rain there is in evenings and at night) but roads become muddy restricting access to some of the more remote areas. It is much more difficult to run treks on Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya though as risk of severely bad weather is too great for us to be comfortable doing so - not just considering your safety but that of our staff and crew who may have to work in very bad conditions.
Contact us if you want to travel during these times (Sunday departures would suit the logistics better). Should rain cause disruption, then as long as you were understanding and flexible our guide would discuss the situations and other options available and we'd do our best to find alternatives to the itinerary.
